Over the last five weeks we held a “vision gym” challenge in our classes. We focused on integrating vision drills into every single class and gave all our members homework to continue the vision training.
Some interesting things have happened along the way. Almost every member demonstrated decreased stress and a corresponding increase in their range of motion during classes.
Members who seldom or occasionally did the homework drills did not have any remarkable successes, but those that did the drills “most” days have seen some amazing results. On average the dominate eye improve one line of the standard vision chart, and their non-dominate eye improved two. For example going from 20/20 to 20/15 on the dominate and 20/25 to 20/15 on the non-dominate.
Another surprise was age. Improvements happened on members and clients from age 28 up to age 70, so being older did NOT negatively impact the training.
