The Associate Induction Hypothesis offers a different way to understand cell structure, energetics, and health.

Over the last few years I have realized TWO things about nutrition and cellular biology. First, I don’t know as much as I thought I did. And second, neither does anyone else.

I say this because the generally accepted “theory” of cellular energetics is just that – “theory.” Well, if it is just a theory I wanted to know what some of the other theories might be.

More importantly if our understanding of the most basic human function, the creation of energy at the cell, is incomplete or inaccurate then how does this effect our overall understanding of health, and metabolism.

I wanted to comment on this interview because it lays the foundation for several ideas you will hear in later interviews. Many of the later interviews offer an approach and explanation to many health and metabolism issues I have seen or experienced.

Based on those explanations and the results I have seen, I am willing to consider the further implications of this approach.

In this interview, Danny and Phil discuss the Associate Induction Hypothesis.

Here are some of the main points I got out of the interview.

5:20 Phil describes the dominate view of the Membrane Pump and idea of cell receptors  that only interact with certain chemicals.  This is the mainstream model of the cell based on a phospholipid bi-layer around the cells and the use of mechanical pumps.

It can be a little difficult to follow without some visuals. Here is a series of videos to help from the Kahn Academy. At 11:20 in this video they present the mechanical pump theory.

10:15 Phil introduces the Living Protoplasm perspective. The idea that the cell is a jelly-like substance without a membrane.

It was very interesting to hear about the process described to examine cells under an electron microscope. They start describing the process at 14:45. The various chemical and heat treatments have to have an impact on the final product. They describe the cell being viewed under an electron microscope as an artifact of the cell, not a true representation of the cell itself.

When the process was described it made me think of modern archeology trying to piece together a pre-historic event based on evidence we find today.

Structured water is a main component separating the to two views of the cell. I was completely unaware of the ideas presented on structured water. Here is a link to a presentation by Dr. Pollack on structured water if you want to gain a better understanding of what it is, and how this may change how we view the cell.

At 33:15 they describe how an MRI looks for these differences in structured water in order to work. If this is accurate then it seems to me that every time an MRI produces accurate results it reaffirms the theory of structured water.  To me, this seems odd that mainstream medicine generally upholds the membrane pump hypothesis, but switches to the living protoplasm hypothesis for MRI scans.

Maybe I’m missing something, but this seems a lot like playing the game Monopoly with my cousin Joe. Everyone I have ever played Monopoly with has a few rules that were a little different. Joe was good at claiming a rule when it was in his favor, but reading the official rules when it wasn’t.

At 38:00 minutes they start to continually refer back to the Associate-Induction Hypothesis put forth by Dr. Gilbert Ling. This link will give you a better overview of the specifics of the hypothesis.

This approach to cell structure lays the ground work for some other interesting ideas about health, metabolism, fitness, and body weight. I plan to comment on more interviews that introduce and build on these topics.

But I want to say that over the last few years we have seen some seemingly effective short-term results. Then over time we became aware of longer-term ill effects. So, I will not offer a whole-sale endorsement of any particular method, but I do think some of these ideas based on cellular energetics are worth considering.
